Stephen Funk has practiced law for over 40 years and been on the
Eastside since 1973. He has devoted his career to representing people
injured by the fault of others. He is especially interested in going after
insurance companies who cheat their customers. It's his goal to see justice and
fairness for his clients.
A Seattle native, Mr. Funk graduated from the University of Washington Law School and has practiced in the Greater Seattle Area for his entire career and been a lifelong Pacific Northwest resident.
Mr. Funk joined the King County Prosecuting Attorney's office after graduating law school in 1963. He worked as the Deputy Prosecuting Attorney before joining a private practice. For two years, Mr. Funk represented county agencies and school districts in personal injury cases. In 1973 Mr. Funk chose to venture out on his own.
For over 10 years he volunteered as the head of the King County Bar Association's Free Legal Clinic and regularly provided free legal advice at the clinic.
